New electric scooter launched in India, will feature cruise control and hill hold; the company will sell only 999 units.

Several companies are rapidly expanding into India's electric two-wheeler segment. One of them is ZELO Electric. Now, the company has launched the Knight+ Rani Edition, a limited-edition variant of its flagship electric scooter. It's available only in baby pink.

New electric scooter launched in India, will feature cruise control and hill hold; the company will sell only 999 units.

Several companies are rapidly expanding into India's electric two-wheeler segment. One such player is ZELO Electric. The company has now launched the Knight+ Rani Edition, a limited-edition variant of its flagship electric scooter. It's available only in baby pink. The company has limited its nationwide production run to 999 units. Bookings are open through its authorized dealer network. This edition was launched on International Women's Day. Its ex-showroom price is ₹69,990, the same as the standard Knight+ model.

Great limited-time deals on favorite models

You will get a range of 100Km on a single charge.
The Rani Edition has all the feature sets and specifications of the base platform, while the limited-edition status is limited only to the colour and finish. Mechanically, this scooter is built on the Knight+ platform launched in August 2025. It is equipped with a 1.8 kWh portable lithium iron phosphate battery, whose range is said to be 100Km. It has a 1.5 kW motor. At the same time, the top speed is up to 55 km/h. The special thing is that it has a removable battery, due to which the rider can remove it and charge it anywhere.

Features like Cruise Control, Hill Hold have been added.
The scooter comes with several segment-first features like Hill Hold Control, Cruise Control, Follow-Me-Home headlamps and a USB charging port. All these features are very useful while riding. Hill Hold is especially useful when there is traffic jam on an uphill section. Also, the use of cruise control improves the scooter's range.

Product available to all riders
Mukund Baheti, co-founder of ZELO Electric, said that the colours have been selected keeping in mind the cultural meaning of the word "queen" in India, and this edition has been designed to reflect one's identity and confident decision-making. The company said that this launch is also part of a larger objective of promoting greater participation of women in two-wheeler mobility. Furthermore, the product is open to all riders.

Now, this car has once again achieved the unthinkable. This popular midsize SUV has once again surpassed Toyota Kirloskar Motor's best-selling model, the Innova MPV. After achieving this milestone with the highest monthly wholesale sales of 11,555 units in October 2025, the Hyrider repeated the feat in February 2026 with sales of 9,359 units. This represents a 117% increase over the previous year. In February 2024, it sold 4,314 units.

Great limited-time deals on favorite models

The Innova, which includes the Hycross and Crysta models, sold 8,703 units last month, up 3% from last year. In February 2025, they sold 8,449 units. This makes the Hyrider the best-selling Toyota in February 2026, accounting for 30% of TKM's total wholesale sales of 30,737 units, up 17% from last year. The Innova, which comprises the Hycross and Crysta models, accounted for 28% of the total PV dispatches last month, with the 8,703 units sold. The combined sales of the Hyrider and Innova were 18,062 units, accounting for nearly 59% of the company's total PV dispatches last month.
